Cyber Path Student Recruitment
Cyber Security Students - Applications close 14th November 2023
Who are we looking for?
The programme welcomes the brightest university students from across the country with the drive and intellectual ability to address this changing landscape of crime.
We do not expect applicants to have an extensive background in cyber or an in-depth understanding of cyber resilience techniques. We are looking for those students with the capacity to develop the necessary skills, who can work successfully as part of a team and deliver the highest quality support to the SMEs we serve.
Anyone in full-time education with the right to work in the UK is able to apply. We welcome applications from those with disabilities and would be happy to discuss reasonable adjustments.
What is Cyber Path?
Cyber PATH is an elite talent pipeline for the next generation of specialists in cyber resilience.
Developed by the National Cyber Resilience Centre Group (NCRCG) in partnership with the Cyber Resilience Centre (CRC) network, Cyber PATH is a programme open to students in full-time higher education who want to help shore up the nation’s defences against cyber crime and gain vital experience in a commercial setting.
What are the benefits to you?
Hands-on work experience in a commercial setting
Training and mentoring in cyber resilience services by senior security practitioners
Appropriate payment for the services you help deliver
Flexibility to balance the programme's activities with your university studies
How to apply?
Applications are open between 1st October 2023 and 14th November 2023.
We will review your application and, if successful, offer you an in-person interview with our team. This will
take place at the end of November and will consist of applicants delivering a presentation on a cyber-related topic of their choice, followed by a short Q&A.
