Information for Volunteers

About the South East Cyber Resilience Centre

The centre is a police led partnership working with academia and businesses to help organisations improve their cyber resilience, â€‹â€‹â€‹supporting organisations in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight.

Combining the expertise of police officers with emerging cyber talent, the centre supports small businesses, SMEs, supply chain organisations, and charities in defending against cyber crime.

Organisations that use email, social media, websites, computers, servers, or any internet-enabled devices, will benefit from the free support.

We recruit over 70 cyber security undergraduates each year from over 45 universities, giving them real world experience, while helping organisations that may not have the resources, to access commercial cyber security providers.

Through this programme, we deliver 10 safeguarding services designed to help organisations stay safer from fraud and cyber crime, whilst also giving students a strong foundation for their future careers.
