SECRC receives the backing of MP for Fareham, Rt Hon Suella Braverman QC MP

With 45% of cyber breaches featured hacking, 17% involved malware and 22% involved phishing, there has never been a better time for businesses of all sizes to improve their cyber resilience.

Data Security Platform provider, Varonis recently reported that on average, only 5% of companies’ folders are properly protected, meaning that cyber criminals can access and exploit your business’s more easily than if they were securely protected.

The Cyber Resilience Centre for the South East has recently received ministerial backing from The Rt Hon Suella Braverman QC MP for Fareham, she said: “At a time where businesses across the UK are having to worry about the loss of significant income as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, they are also having to worry about falling victim to a cyber attack and find themselves having to jump through all sorts of hoops to protect themselves.

“The Cyber Resilience Centre for the South East has launched at a critical time for businesses and I would urge businesses in the South East to make contact with the centre to learn how the SECRC can support their business.
