What are Cyber Resilience Centres?

About the SECRC

The South East Cyber Resilience Centre is a police-led partnership, focussed on helping businesses in the South East of England build cyber resilience and reduce the impact of cybercrime across the region.

  • Who delivers SECRC’s guidance and services?
    Our guidance and services are delivered by either cyber professionals from the police force or university students from the Cyber PATH programme who have gone through a rigorous vetting process and are fully backed by cyber practitioners and police officers.
  • What are the most common cyber threats?
    The most common cyber threats faced in the South East region are phishing attacks, malware and ransomware attacks, and social engineering.
  • What is Cyber Essentials?
    Cyber Essentials is a UK government backed certification that helps organisations protect against common cyber threats. The SECRC can help your business become Cyber Essentials certified.
